Easy Delicious Garlic Shrimp
- 8 -10 ounces uncooked large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 14-13 cup olive oil
- 2 -3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic (can use more garlic)
- 1 small bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon dried chili pepper flakes (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1-2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley)
- black pepper
- Place the shrimp in a bowl, and toss with salt; let stand for 20 minutes.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a medium skillet over high heat.
- Add in chopped garlic, bay leaf and crushed red pepper; stir for 1 minute.
- Add in shrimp and stir JUST until cooked through (about 2-3 minutes).
- Season with black pepper.
- Transfer to a serving dish.
