Roasted Garlic
- 1 large head garlic
- 1 sprinkle of sea salt or kosher salt
- 1 drizzle of olive oil
- 1 large 8 "x 8 " square of aluminum foil
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Cut the top off garlic head by 1/4 ".
- Place on aluminum oil square cut side up and drizzle olive oil on top then salt.
- Fold foil into little packet, place on cooking tray and bake for 25-35 minutes.
- Garlic should be fragrant, golden color and very soft.
- I like to do several heads of garlic at a time.
- This is great as a spread, for adding to a dish requesting garlic but you want a sweeter, milder flavor, and great to add that extra flavor to salads.
- Keep refrigerated in air tight container for up to 3 days.
