Roasted Garlic

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Cut the top off garlic head by 1/4 ".
  3. Place on aluminum oil square cut side up and drizzle olive oil on top then salt.
  4. Fold foil into little packet, place on cooking tray and bake for 25-35 minutes.
  5. Garlic should be fragrant, golden color and very soft.
  6. I like to do several heads of garlic at a time.
  7. This is great as a spread, for adding to a dish requesting garlic but you want a sweeter, milder flavor, and great to add that extra flavor to salads.
  8. Keep refrigerated in air tight container for up to 3 days.
