Microwave Salisbury Steak Recipe
- 1 1/2 lbs. grnd beef
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce.) can golden brown mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- Dash of pepper
- 1/3 c. water
- Combine grnd beef, 1/4 c. soup, bread crumbs, egg, onion, and pepper.
- Shape mix into 6 patties.
- Place patties in a 2-qt casserole.
- Microwave at 100% power for 8-10 min.
- Turn patties halfway through cooking time.
- Drain excess grease from patties.
- Blend remaining soup with water.
- Pour over meat.
- Microwave at 100% power for 3 to 4 min.
- Serves 6.
- NOTE: Cream of mushroom soup and 1 package dry onion soup mix can be substituted for golden brown mushroom soup and minced onion.
- Use 1/2 package of soup fold in patties and 1/2 package soup in making the sauce.
