Stuffed Peppers with Goat Cheese & Sage
- 8 whole Mini Sweet Peppers, Assorted Colors
- 4 ounces, weight Goat Cheese Crumbles
- 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Sage, Minced
- 2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
- 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
- Optional For Garnish: Dried Sage Or Fresh If You Prefer
- Preheat your oven to 300 F.
- Wash, cut in half lengthwise and clean out the insides of the peppers.
- Put them cut side up on a rimmed baking sheet.
- Set aside.
- Add goat cheese, cream cheese, black pepper, sage, maple syrup and garlic into a a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl.
- Microwave for about a minute and mix well.
- Spoon the filling into the pepper halves.
- Put baking sheet into the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
- Garnish with additional sage if you would like.
