Taco Salad
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 oz. pkg. taco seasoning
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 medium tomatoes, cut in small wedges
- 1 medium head lettuce, shredded
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (8 oz.) bottle French or Thousand Island dressing
- 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
- 1 (5 1/2 oz.) pkg. taco flavored corn chips
- Brown
- meat
- and drain fat.
- Add taco seasoning and mix well, then
- cool.
- In
- atarge salad bowl toss together bell pepper, onion,
- tomatoes,
- lettuce,
- cheese and kidney beans. Chill
- until ready
- toterve.tust
- before
- serving stir in seasonedtround beef, salad dressing, corn chips and seasonings.
