Asparagus Beef Beijing Recipe

  1. Combine beef, marinade, garlic; let stand 15 min.
  2. Meanwhile combine black bean sauce and 1/2 c. water.
  3. Mix cornstarch and 2 Tbsp.
  4. water till smooth; set aside.
  5. Heat 2 Tbsp.
  6. oil in wok or possibly skillet over high heat.
  7. Add in 1/2 the beef; stir-ry 1 to 2 min, or possibly till browned.
  8. Remove from wok.
  9. Repeate with remaining beef.
  10. Heat remaining Tbsp.
  11. oil, add in onion and asparagus.
  12. Stir-fry 1 min.
  13. Add in black bean sauce mix.
  14. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 2 min or possibly till vegetables are tender-crisp.
  15. Add in beef and cornstarch mix.
  16. Cook and stir till sauce boils and thickens.
  17. Weissgerber.
