Breakfast Bagel Sandwich
- 1 oat bran bagel
- 1 slice extra-lean turkey bacon
- 1 nonstick cooking spray
- 1 tsp omega-3 light spread
- 1 1/2 cup liquid egg whites
- 1 black pepper
- Toast bagel & set aside.
- Cost a nonstick pan with cooking spray & cook the turkey bacon over medium-low heat.
- When the bacon is cooked, remove it from the pan & set aside.
- Add the omega-3 spread to the pan.
- Pour in the egg whites & sprinkle with the salt & pepper.
- While the egg is setting, chop the bacon.
- When most of the egg is set, use a spatula to loosen the egg from the pan, allowing any uncooked egg to run off into the pan.
- Sprinkle the chopped bacon onto the egg while its still wet.
- Fold in the sides of the egg to make a square.
- Flip the egg square to finish cooking.
- When the egg is firm, place it on the bagel & serve.
