Green Bay Packer Game Day Brats

  1. Make a lengthwise slit three fourths of the way through each bratwurst to within 1/2 inch of each end.
  2. Fill with sauerkraut.
  3. Top with dressing and cheese.
  4. Place bratwurst in buns.
  5. Wrap individually in a double thick piece of heavy duty aluminum foil (about 12 inches square).
  6. Grill, covered, over medium hot heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
  7. *You can also use this recipe with fully cooked Italian sausages.
