Grape Jelly
- 4 cups prepared Concord grape juice
- 1/2 cup water
- 7 cups sugar
- 1 pouch Certo Liquid Pectin
- STEM and thoroughly crush 3 qts grapes.
- Place in a large saucepan.
- ADD water.
- Bring to a boil and simmer, covered, 10 minutes.
- Place in jelly cloth or bag and squeeze out juice.
- MEASURE prepared juice into a large saucepan.
- ADD sugar to juice and mix well.
- PLACE saucepan over high heat.
- Bring to a full rolling boil and boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- IMMEDIATELY stir in liquid fruit pectin.
- SKIM if necessary.
- POUR quickly into warm, sterilized jars filling up to 1/4 inch (0.5 cm) from rim.
- SEAL while hot with warm sterilized 2-piece lids with new centers.
