St. Patrick's Day Colcannon & Brisket

  1. start by cooking your brisket as directed, I add the onion & jalapeno to the boil for more flavor.right before brisket is done I add in a few potatoes & carrots cook till tender.
  2. peel and dice potatoes boil till soft & drain.
  3. add chopped cabbage to a pot of water, add pinch of salt boil on high till tender turn off and drain, lightly smash set aside.
  4. now add all ingredients into potatoes, mix well your liquids amount is up to you how thick or creamy you like.taste for seasonings
  5. this was my grams recipe..

cabbage, potatoes, butter, mustard powder, salt, garlic, ground pepper, scallions, milk, heavy cream, celery, parsley flakes, brisket, onion, jalapeno
