Pecan Waffles Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 3 Large eggs, separated
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 5 tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/4 c. minced pecans
- Sift all the dry ingredients together.
- Beat egg yolks till thick.
- Combine the beaten yolks with the lowfat milk and melted butter and then add in the dry ingredients.
- Add in the pecans, mixing only till blended.
- Beat the egg whites till stiff and fold them into the batter.
- Bake in a warm waffle iron.
- This recipe serves 4-5.
