Turkey Pea Casserole Recipe
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. onion, diced
- 3 c. turkey or possibly chicken, diced
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn peas
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 (2 ounce.) jar pimento, diced
- 2 teaspoon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- Warm cooked rice
- In glass 1 1/2 qt casserole, heat butter.
- Add in onion, cook till transparent.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Cover, cook on High heat for 10 to 12 min, or possibly till bubbly, stirring once during cooking.
- Serve over warm rice.
- Serves 4.
- In conventional oven, bake at 325 degrees for approximately 35 min.
