Domed Cheese Toast with Cabbage
- 1 slice Sliced bread
- 2 leaves Cabbage
- 2 slice Sliced cheese (non-melting type if possible)
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Mirin
- 1 tsp Mayonnaise
- 1 for spread on a toast Margarine
- Julienne or roughly chop the cabbage.
- This picture is of one outer cabbage leaf, about 60g.
- You can eat it up easily.
- Mix the cabbage with .
- Adjust depending on the amount of cabbage.
- This is for 60 g. Top on the bread with margarine.
- Put one slice of cheese over one corner of the toast.
- Then cover the rest with another slice.
- Cut off excess cheese like the photo.
- It will be just right with 2 slices of cheese.
- Toast for little bit longer than usual.
- Using non-melting cheese gives a darker golden brown and keeps the dome shape.
- Sometimes, I make a well in the julienned cabbage and crack an egg in the middle, then cover with more cabbage and put cheese on top.
