Domed Cheese Toast with Cabbage

  1. Julienne or roughly chop the cabbage.
  2. This picture is of one outer cabbage leaf, about 60g.
  3. You can eat it up easily.
  4. Mix the cabbage with .
  5. Adjust depending on the amount of cabbage.
  6. This is for 60 g. Top on the bread with margarine.
  7. Put one slice of cheese over one corner of the toast.
  8. Then cover the rest with another slice.
  9. Cut off excess cheese like the photo.
  10. It will be just right with 2 slices of cheese.
  11. Toast for little bit longer than usual.
  12. Using non-melting cheese gives a darker golden brown and keeps the dome shape.
  13. Sometimes, I make a well in the julienned cabbage and crack an egg in the middle, then cover with more cabbage and put cheese on top.
  14. I can recommend this too.
  15. Use soy sauce, mirin and mayonnaise as the base flavour, and adjust to your preference.
