Cookies With Hats On

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and beat.
  3. Combine all dry ingredients.
  4. Combine milk and vanilla.
  5. Alternately add dry ingredients and liquid ingredients to dough.
  6. To form each cookie: Drop about 1 teaspoons of dough onto greased cookie sheet.
  7. Using a spoon make a well.
  8. Add about 1/2 teaspoons of jam into the well.
  9. Top with about 1/2 teaspoons of dough.
  10. Bake 12 - 15 minutes at 375F oven.
  11. Cool on wire racks.
