Hot Cream Cheese Hors D'oeuvres Recipe
- 20 slices white bread
- 8 ounce. pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/8 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 c. sugar
- Cut crusts off bread and roll slices very thin with rolling pin.
- Mix cream cheese, egg yolk, vanilla and 2 Tbsp.
- sugar till smooth.
- Spread mix on bread and roll up each slice.
- Roll bread in melted butter.
- Dip in mix of sugar and cinnamon.
- Bread rolls may be frzn at this point.
- Defrost 10 min.
- Cut each roll into 2 or possibly 3 pcs.
- Heat at 400 degrees for 20 min.
- Serve with lowfat sour cream.
