Healthy Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
  3. Add the chocolate chips.
  4. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, canola oil and vanilla.
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients in the medium mixing bowl and mix until combined.
  6. Drop a tablespoon-sized amount of the cookie dough onto the baking sheet, leaving a bit of space between the cookies as they will expand.
  7. Continue to drop the dough to make 20 cookies.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until very lightly golden.
