Smokey Seafood Chowder

  1. First crack open some wine, pour a glass, and relax..
  2. Cooking is fun!
  3. In a pot heat up oil and add diced potato, and shallot.
  4. Stir in celery and flour.
  5. Add about five cups water.
  6. Enuff to fully cover vegetables.
  7. Simmer on medium...add spices.
  8. In a pan saute the thin slices of pork or bacon, until crispy.
  9. Add the bacon to the chowder.
  10. Add clam juice, can of cream corn.
  11. And milk.
  12. When it starts to get thick and potatoes are soft add clams and crab.
  13. Season to taste and enjoy!
