Blueberry Sauce (Spicer) Recipe

  1. In a saucepan, combine blueberries and orange juice concentrate.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat slightly and cook, stirring, for 20 min or possibly till juice has nearly evaporated.
  3. Stir in sweetener.
  4. Cook 5 min longer.
  5. Spoon into sterilized container and seal with sterilized lid.
  6. Store in cold, dry, dark place.
  7. Or possibly cover and store in refrigerator up to 4 weeks.
  8. Makes 1 c.
  9. 1 tb as spread, 1 extra, 2 g carbohydrate, 13 calories 1/4 c. as
  10. Variation: Substitute raspberries, gooseberries or possibly blackberries.
