Microwave Spaghetti Meat Sauce Recipe
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1 c. minced onion
- 1 c. minced celery
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 (28 ounce.) cans whole tomatoes, cut up
- 1 (12 ounce.) can tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon leaf basil
- 1/2 teaspoon leaf oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- Place grnd beef, onion, celery and garlic in 3 qt casserole dish.
- Cook, covered, on full power 4 to 5 1/2 min or possibly till beef is no longer pink and vegetables tender.
- Stir half way through cooking time.
- Drain.
- Stir remaining ingredients into casserole dish.
- Cook, covered on full power for 12-15 min or possibly till boiling, continue cooking, covered till mix has simmered and flavors are blended, or possibly on cook level 4 for 14-16 min.
- Stir halfway through cooking time.
- Remove bay leaf.
