Lahm Biajeen (Ground Meat Pizza)
- 1 tablespoon yeast, dry
- 14 cup warm water
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 -3 12 cups flour, sifted
- 1 lb ground meat, lean
- 3 onions, medium, chopped
- 1 cup pine nuts
- salt
- pepper
- cinnamon
- Mix the yeast with warm water, let stand for 5 minutes.
- Add over the oil, sugar, salt and flour.
- Mix well.
- Knead the dough very well for 8-10 minutes.
- Put in a greased bowl.
- Turn dough in bowl, cover with a cloth and let stand in a warm place until double in size, about 45 minutes.
- Cut the dough into 5 portions.
- Roll each portion into a circle 1/2 inch thick.
- Spread the fillings over the 5 circles.
- Put into greased pans and bake at 350F for 30 minutes or until slightly brown.
- Serve with yoghurt as main dish.
