Pot Pie Camp Rustown

  1. (Ideally, you would cook the turkey roast the day before, and chop it up.
  2. Or, use chopped leftover turkey from Thanksgiving, perhaps.
  3. You can also substitute chicken.)
  4. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  5. Mix together the cooked and chopped turkey or chicken, mixed veggies, and un-diluted soup.
  6. You can add a tablespoon or so of milk, if you like.
  7. Pour this into a buttered casserole dish, top with the crust, cut slits in the top to vent, and bake for 1 hour.
  8. (No need to use a bottom crust.)
  9. Note: the fun of this recipe is not only its ease, but that you can use whatever veggie/meat combo you like.
  10. Try it with chopped spinach or broccoli.
  11. Dont knock cream of soups!
  12. They definitely have their place!
