Double Decker Tacos
- 1 pound Ground Beef (or A Little Over A Pound)
- 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Re-fried Beans, Heated Until Piping Hot
- 1 whole Recipe For Homemade Taco Seasoning (see My TastyKitchen Recipe Box)
- 1 Tablespoon Flour
- 1/4 cups Water
- 1 package Yellow Corn Taco Shells (10-count Package)
- 10 whole Soft Flour Tortillas
- Optional Taco Toppings: Chopped Lettuce, Chopped Tomatoes, Shredded Cheese, Etc
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until nicely browned.
- While the beef is browning, heat up the refried beans according to the directions on the can.
- Once the meat is browned add in the taco seasoning and flour.
- Stir and cook for a minute or two.
- Add in the water and continue to heat and stir until its thickened.
- Remove pan from heat.
- Wrap the flour tortillas in a slightly damp paper towel and heat in microwave for a minute.
- Then smear a little of the re-fried beans onto each tortilla and set them on your work surface.
- Spoon the taco meat into each of the crispy taco shells.
- Place each corn (meat-filled) taco into the center of a bean-smeared flour tortilla and wrap.
- The beans acting as the glue to keep the taco and flour tortilla together.
- Top with lettuce, cheese tomatoes or any of your favorite toppings and enjoy!
