Mediterranean Balsamic-Infused Nuts
- 2-1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 can (11.5 oz.) PLANTERS Mixed Nuts
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. Italian seasoning, crushed
- 1 tsp. dried rosemary leaves, crushed
- 1 tsp. orange zest Safeway 1 lb For $0.79 thru 02/09
- 1/2 tsp. coarse kosher salt
- Heat oven to 325 degrees F.
- Bring water and vinegar to boil in medium saucepan on medium-high heat.
- Add nuts; cook 3 min.
- Drain nuts; discard liquid.
- Place nuts in medium bowl.
- Add sugar; toss to coat.
- Spread onto bottom of parchment-lined 15x10x1-inch pan.
- Bake 18 min.
- or until glaze is firm.
- (Do not stir.)
- Remove from oven.
- Add remaining ingredients; mix lightly.
- Cool completely.
