Butter Toffee Bars

  1. Preheat oven ot 325F.
  2. Beat sugar and butter in large mixer bowl, until creamy.
  3. Add egg yolk; beat well.
  4. Beat in flour.
  5. Press evenly onto bottom of ungreased 15x10 jelly roll pan.
  6. Bake for 22-25 minutes or until lightly browned, and center is still slightly soft.
  7. Sprinkle with morsels.
  8. Let stand for 3 minutes or until morsels are shiny.
  9. Spread evenly.
  10. Sprinkle with toffee chips.
  11. Cool for 1 hour; cut into bars wirh sharp knife while slightly warm.
