Easy Lunch Loco Moco Rice Bowl with Stir-fried Hamburger Meat

  1. Heat a little oil in the frying pan and cook the minced onion thoroughly.
  2. Add the ground meat.
  3. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  4. Once the meat has been mostly cooked, add the ingredients all at once.
  5. Stir to combine and then crack the eggs on top.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil.
  7. After 2-3 minutes, turn off the heat and let the eggs cook in residual heat.
  8. Once the eggs have been cooked to your liking, it's done.
  9. Put the rice in a bowl and top with lettuce.
  10. Top with the meat and an egg to make an easy loco moco rice bowl.
  11. If there are leftovers, I usually add some corn, a beaten egg, and rice to make a meat pilaf type dish.
