Tost Bread: Italian Cheese Twist Recipe

  1. In a small bowl combine butter, basil, oregano, marjoram and garlic pwdr.
  2. Set aside.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll bread dough into a 2 inch square.
  4. Spread butter mix proportionately over dough.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Fold dough into thirds With a sharp knife cut dough crosswise into 24 (1/2 inch) strips.
  7. Twist each strip twice and healthy pinch ends to seal.
  8. Place about 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet.
  9. Cover, let rise in a hot place till almost double (30 min).
  10. Combine egg and water, brush over twists.
  11. Sprinkle with sesame seed.
  12. Bake 375 degrees 10 to 12 min.
