BBQ Pork Sandwiches

  1. Heat the vegetable oil over medium heat in a large pot.
  2. Season the Country Ribs with a little salt and pepper.
  3. Brown the country ribs on both sides.
  4. Add the water to the pot and bring to a boil.
  5. Turn the heat down to low and cook for about 90 mins until pork is tender.
  6. While waiting fry your bacon.
  7. And place on a paper towel.
  8. Drain your meat only leaving about 3 tablespoons of the water mixture for flavor.
  9. Shred the meat.
  10. (I normally just use two forks its so tender).
  11. Slice the onion and tomatoes.
  12. Add you BBQ sauce to the meat you may need the whole bottle depending on how saucy you like it.
  13. (Mix well)
  14. Build your sandwiches.
  15. BBQ pork first, a slice of american cheese, two slices of Bacon, shredded lettuce, sliced onion and tomatoes and finally two pickles and a two teaspoons of mayo spread on the bun.
  16. (I like to grill the buns sometimes on the insides with a little butter before building the sandwich but not required)
