KADLEBELE PAYASA / CHANA DAL PAYASA

  1. Cook kadlebele/Bengal gram with water in a cooker till 3 whistles are released
  2. Mix it with a tablespoon milk and keep aside
  3. Add the freshly grated coconut with grinded jaggery to get a course paste
  4. Now heat ghee in a kadai and add cashew nuts, chopped almonds, remaining milk, and coconut mixture
  5. Cook it for 15 minutes and then pour the kadlebele mixture
  6. Sprinkle cardamom powder and let it cook for another 2 to 3 minutes
