Lobster Roll Hors D'oeuvres Recipe
- 1/2 pound Velveeta cheese
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound lobster meat
- 1 loaf sliced bread
- Heat cheese and butter in double boiler; stir till smooth.
- Stir in salt and lobster meat.
- Remove crusts from bread.
- Place slices between waxed paper; roll out thin with rolling pin.
- Place generous amount of lobster mix on each bread slice.
- Roll up each slice; wrap in waxed paper.
- Freeze overnight.
- Remove from freezer when ready to serve.
- Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 min.
- Rolls may be cut into bits or possibly bite-sized pcs and served with toothpicks.
- Yield: 30 slices.
