Warm Apples and Ice Cream

  1. Preheat a medium skillet over medium to medium-high heat.
  2. Peel and quarter the apples.
  3. Core each quarter.
  4. Slice the apples up.
  5. Add butter to the skillet, then apples.
  6. Saute 7 or 8 minutes, add sugar, cinnamon and cloves and cook 2 minutes more.
  7. Spoon the sauteed apples into dessert dishes and top with ice cream, whipped cream, and garnish with grated nutmeg.
