Silken Tofu with Ginger Ankake Sauce
- 1 block Silken tofu
- 1 Green onions (sliced)
- 100 ml Water
- 1 tbsp Mentsuyu (3x concentrate)
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1/2 tsp Dashi stock granules
- 1 Katakuriko slurry
- 1 Grated ginger
- (Ginger Ankake Sauce) 1: Combine the water, mentsuyu, mirin, and dashi stock granules to a pot and bring to a boil.
- 2: Add the katakuriko slurry to thicken the sauce and then stop the heat.
- Stir in the grated ginger.
- In a separate pot, add water (not listed) and the silken tofu.
- Turn on the heat and heat.
- Remove the tofu from Step 3 and place it on a dish.
- Top with the ginger ankake sauce from Step 2 and green onion.
