Lentil Pasta Sauce
- 1 each onions chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 each tomatoes ripe, chopped
- 1/4 cup lentils
- 3 dashes red hot pepper sauce
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- Saute Onions and Garlic until golden and then add all the ingredients and let come to a boil and then low heat until lentils are cooked through and sauce will thicken.
- you might have to add a little more water.
- Serve this over capellini and with garlic bread ofcourse and a green salad with balsamic vinegar.
