Nuwave Meatloaf
- 1 pound ground beef, lean
- 1 cup bread crumbs, whole wheat
- 3 tablespoons dehydrated onions
- 3 tablespoons water hot
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cajun seasoning
- 1 large eggs lightly beaten
- 3 slices cheese slices, processed
- 13 cup ketchup
- In a small bowl, add the dried onions and 3 tablespoons of hot or boiling water.
- Set aside to re-hydrate.
- In a mixing bowl add the ground beef, bread crumbs, cajun seasoning, lightly beaten egg and the re-hydrated onions.
- Mix together thoroughly.
- Add the meat loaf mixture into a loaf pan.
- Press down to shape.
- If making ahead, turn out the loaf, wrap in aluminum foil and freeze until ready to use.
- Turn out the meatloaf onto the one inch rack of a NuWave or FlavorWave oven.
- Bake on high for 10 minutes.
- Bake on high for 14 minutes.
- Cover with foil and cook an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove foil and top with slices of cheese and spread with the ketchup.
- Cook an additional 3 to 4 minute until the cheese has melted.
- Serve.
