Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 2 14 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 14 cup granulated sugar
- 34 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
- 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- In a medium sized bowl combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl combine the eggs and butter.
- With an electric mixer beat the eggs and melted butter on medium speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Add the granulated and brown sugars, vanilla extract, and vanilla pudding mix.
- Mix well.
- Slowly add the flour mixture.
- After the dough is well mixed, stir in the chocolate chips and the pecans if using.
- Drop by the heaping teaspoonful about 2 to 3 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes on the center rack of the oven.
