Flank Steak with Roasted Onions and Thyme
- 1/4 cup KRAFT Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh thyme
- 1 lb. beef flank steak
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 onion, cut into wedges
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Mix dressing, garlic and thyme until blended.
- Pour half the dressing mixture over steak in shallow glass dish.
- Refrigerate 1 hour to marinate, turning steak after 30 min.
- Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade.
- Add steak to hot oil in large skillet on medium-high heat; cook 3 min.
- on each side or until browned.
- Add onions and remaining dressing mixture to skillet.
- Cook 10 to 15 min.
- or until steak is medium doneness (160 degrees F) and onions are tender, stirring onions occasionally.
- Let stand, loosely covered, 5 min.
- Cut steak across grain into thin slices.
- Serve steak with onions.
