Flank Steak with Roasted Onions and Thyme

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Mix dressing, garlic and thyme until blended.
  3. Pour half the dressing mixture over steak in shallow glass dish.
  4. Refrigerate 1 hour to marinate, turning steak after 30 min.
  5. Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade.
  6. Add steak to hot oil in large skillet on medium-high heat; cook 3 min.
  7. on each side or until browned.
  8. Add onions and remaining dressing mixture to skillet.
  9. Cook 10 to 15 min.
  10. or until steak is medium doneness (160 degrees F) and onions are tender, stirring onions occasionally.
  11. Let stand, loosely covered, 5 min.
  12. Cut steak across grain into thin slices.
  13. Serve steak with onions.
