Asian Style Avocado and Fresh Tuna Rice Bowl
- 1/4 to 1/3 Avocado (the amount depends on the size)
- 50 to 60 grams Sashimi grade fresh tuna
- 1 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1/2 tbsp Sesame oil (vegetable oil is ok too)
- 1 teaspoo Fish sauce
- 1 White sesame seeds
- 1 add as much (to taste) Plain steamed rice
- 1 Nori seaweed
- 1 Japanese leek or green onion
- Peel and de-seed the avocado, cut into quarters and then cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Slice the tuna thinly on the diagonal.
- Marinate the tuna slices in the combined flavoring ingredients, about around 10 minutes (in the refrigerator in the summer).
- Put some rice in a bowl and top with the avocado and the marinated tuna and it's done!
- Add some finely shredded white part of a leek or green onion, nori seaweed, and sesame seeds!
