grandma's creamy cucumbers

• 3 cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced
• 3 spring (green) onions, thinly sliced (optional)
• 1 cup sour cream. light is fine
• 2 tbsp white vinegar
• 1 1/2 tsp sugar
• 1 salt and pepper
• 1 tbsp half and half, optional (grandma's secret ingredient)

1. mix all and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
