Brown And White Bread, Melody's (Gluten Free) Recipe
- 1 1/2 pound loaf:
- 2 1/4 tsp Active dry yeast 1 packet
- 1 c. Brown rice flour
- 2 c. White rice flour
- 3 1/2 tsp Xanthan gum
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/3 c. Nonfat dry lowfat milk pwdr
- 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine melted
- 2 lrg Large eggs well beaten
- 1 3/4 c. Hot water
- 1) Place all ingredients, except the hot water, in bread pan and press start.
- While the machine is kneading, gradually pour in the water.
- If the dough does not mix well, use a rubber spatula it occasionally.
- 2) After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on wire rack , and allow to cold 1 hour before slicing.
