Scalloped Potatoes, Sausage And Cabbage Recipe
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (13 ounce.) can evaporated lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. water
- 4 med. potatoes, sliced thin
- 1 med. onion, sliced thin
- 2 c. shredded cabbage
- 8 ounce. Kielbasa, sliced thin
- In medium saucepan, heat butter; stir in flour, salt and pepper till smooth.
- Gradually add in lowfat milk and water, stirring constantly over medium heat till thick.
- In greased 3 qt casserole, layer 1/3 potatoes, 1/2 onion, 1/2 cabbage, 1/2 sausage and 1/3 sauce.
- Repeat.
- Top with remaining potatoes and sauce.
- Cover; bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 35 min.
- Uncover; bake 45-50 min more till potatoes are tender.
- Makes 4 servings.
