Chargrilled Octopus
- 1 whole octopus
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 6 clove garlic
- 2 lemons
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- put octopus in pot of boiling water for 20 minutes...shut flame and let sit for another 20 minutes
- take out of pot & cut off legs as close to head as possible
- remove any loose skin with hand & wash under water
- slice up legs into half inch pieces
- put into bowl...with olive oil ..minced garlic & salt & let marinade for up to hour
- place on grill on high flames for a couple minutes on each side
- put in bowl & squeeze fresh lemon & serve with italian bread
