Basic Meatloaf (Microwave) Recipe
- 2 Large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 pound lean grnd beef
- 1/4 c. fine bread crumbs
- 1 sm. onion, minced
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tbsp. catsup, steak, barbecue or possibly chili sauce (optional)
- Mix Large eggs, grnd beef, bread crumbs, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, mustard and pepper together thoroughly.
- Spread catsup, steak, barbecue or possibly chili sauce over top, if you like.
- Spread mix proportionately in dish.
- Top with sauce.
- For fewer moist spots and browner surface, leave uncovered.
- Microwave, on High power, rotating dish after half the cooking time (round 12 - 18 min, ring - shaped 8 - 13 min, loaf 13 - 18 min, 6 individual 10 - 13 min).
- Let stand 5 - 10 min.
- It will complete cooking and become hard.
