CREAM OF WHEAT Tabbouleh

  1. Mix bulgur wheat and 2 cups of the boiling water; let stand 1 hour.
  2. Heat 1 Tbsp.
  3. of the oil in skillet; stir in cereal.
  4. Cook and stir on medium heat until lightly toasted.
  5. Reduce heat to low.
  6. Stir in remaining 1 cup boiling water; cover.
  7. Cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Drain bulgur.
  9. Add to cereal mixture along with all remaining ingredients; mix well.
  10. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
  11. Serve on lettuce-covered platter.
