Boiled Greens Recipe

  1. Combine bones, water and pepper flakes in large saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 4 hrs.
  3. Remove bones, strain broth and chill.
  4. Throw away hardened fat.
  5. Boil broth uncovered till volume is reduced to about 1 c.. Add in greens and cook 1 hour.
  6. Stir in oil, sugar and vinegar just before serving.
  7. Makes 4 servings.
  8. Each serving equals approximately 70 calories.
