Tomato Aspic With Cream Cheese Center Recipe

  1. Dissolve gelatin in 1/3 c. of cool water.
  2. Mix tomato juice, onion, celery, cloves and bay leaf and bring to a boil.
  3. Cook slowly for 5 min.
  4. Then add in the seasonings.
  5. Strain and pour into dissolved gelatin.
  6. Pour into molds to cold.
  7. If the cream cheese center is desired, fill each mold half full; allow to congeal partially, and then place a cheese ball rolled in crushed nuts in the center.
  8. Finish filling the mold with mix.
  9. The cheese ball will be entirely covered and will be a delightful surprise!
