Baked Baguette with Lemon-Garlic Butter

  1. Mix butter, chopped parsley, garlic and grated lemon peel in small bowl to blend.
  2. Season lemon-garlic butter to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread evenly over 1 side of each bread slice.
  4. Reassemble bread slices; wrap in foil.
  5. Place on baking sheet.
  6. (Can be made 8 hours ahead; chill.)
  7. Preheat oven to 300F.
  8. Bake bread until heated through, about 20 minutes; serve bread warm.
