Tides Lodge Chocolate Chess Pie Recipe
- 4 heaping tbsp. cocoa
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. pecans, minced
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1/2 c. unsweetened evaporated lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. coconut
- 1 (9 inch) pie shell, unbaked
- Vanilla ice cream or possibly whipped cream
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Mix all ingredients and pour into unbaked pie shell.
- Bake for 30 min.
- Cold.
- Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or possibly whipped cream.
- Yield one 9 inch pie.
