Chocolate Popovers
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
- 2 tbsp. unsweetened chocolate, shaved
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Heavily grease 12 non-stick muffin cups.
- In a medium bowl whisk the eggs, milk and butter together.
- Add flour, chocolate and salt; beat until smooth.
- Divide the batter between the 12 muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until puffed and crisp on the tops.
- Serve as soon as possible.
- Garnish with powdered sugar, fruit or berries.
