Herbed Kasha Pilaf Recipe

  1. Cook onion in butter till tender, not brown.
  2. Stir uncooked kasha and egg together.
  3. Add in to butter and onion and stir till each grain is coated.
  4. Stir in water, rice, beef or possibly chicken bouillon granules and basil.
  5. Bring to boil.
  6. Reduce heat, cover and simmer till tender, about 15 min.
  7. Stir in snipped parsley.
  8. Serves 4.
