Broccoli Cheddar Mashed Potatoes

  1. Place potatoes in 4-quart saucepan; add enough water to cover.
  2. Bring to a boil; cook over medium heat 10 minutes; add broccoli florets.
  3. Continue cooking 5-7 minutes or until potatoes and broccoli are fork tender; drain.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Melt butter in same saucepan over medium heat until sizzling.
  6. Add bell pepper; cook 3 minutes.
  7. Add garlic; cook 1-2 minutes or until softened.
  8. Remove from heat.
