Slow Cooker Chicken Philly Sandwich
- 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 1 whole Large Sweet Onion, Sliced
- 2 whole Green Bell Peppers, Stem And Seeds Removed, Sliced
- 4 Tablespoons Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- 1/4 teaspoons Vinegar
- 18 teaspoons Ginger
- 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 3 whole Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, Sliced
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- Sandwich Rolls
- Mozzarella Cheese Slices
- Spray a medium-sized slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray and turn heat on to low.
- Add butter, onions and green peppers.
- Combine soy sauce, honey, vinegar, ginger, garlic powder salt, and pepper in a medium sized bowl then add chicken and toss to coat the chicken.
- Add it into the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook for 5 hours or until chicken has cooked.
- Serve on rolls with cheese melted on top.
